This position is for a year-round Shop Mechanic, who is a self-starter and can perform services on a scheduled basis and repairs as needed. This is an opportunity for a well-rounded Mechanic capable of servicing fleet and small engine equipment . You need to be a mechanically inclined individual who excels at keeping things operating at peak performance.
Maintenance Mechanic service technicians with at least 5 years experience need only apply.
Our fleet includes over 35 trucks and trailers, as well as 100-plus pieces of small equipment that require servicing on a scheduled basis and repairs as needed. You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of small power equipment to include, cutoff saws, chainsaws, scag mowers, aerators, 4-stroke and 2-cycle engines. Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing passenger cars, pickup trucks, 1-ton gas and diesel trucks, as well as medium-duty equipment such as Skid loaders, Excavator (12,000 lbs), Vibratory Plow / Trencher, and tow-behind air compressors. Other expected duties to perform include troubleshooting electrical problems, changing tires, light welding and shop and yard maintenance. It is a PLUS if you are bilingual in English and Spanish.
