Senior Accountant

A growing, project-based organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and partner with leadership in a fast-paced, government-related environment.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee AP processes, vendor payments, and expense reporting
• Coordinate payroll with a third-party provider and ensure accurate reporting
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support project accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
• Assist with billing, revenue recognition, and collections support
• Lead or support month-end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support audits, compliance, and internal controls
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–6 years of accounting experience
• Strong GL, reconciliations, and close experience
• Exposure to AP, payroll, and expense processes
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience in project-based or government contracting environments
• Gov Con experience, Deltek Costpoint is a plus
• CPA or CPA-track

Additional Info

• Must be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance
