Company is helping our client find experienced Spanish Transcriptionists to assist with multiple Spanish transcription projects.


In this role, you will be responsible for listening to a variety of audio data, which may include different accents, background noise, crosstalk, etc. You must also have superb typing skills and be able to focus for long periods of time with strong attention to detail.


This assignment is part-time remote and is a year-based contract, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate.


The ideal candidate will be able to deliver high-quality transcription data and ASR-validated datasets at a fairly quick and consistent pace while being able to maintain sharp focus. The ability to maintain confidentiality, collaborate on a team, and communicate effectively is essential in this role.

Ideal candidate profile

Experienced Spanish transcriptionist who is fast, accurate, and consistent. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal hand-holding. Detail-obsessed and process-driven (style guides don't frustrate you; you like them). Calm under imperfect audio conditions and able to maintain quality despite noise/crosstalk. Proactive communicator who flags issues early and collaborates well with a distributed team. Reliable "steady throughput" performer who can maintain pace week over week.

Daily tasks

Listen to Spanish audio files (varied accents, background noise, crosstalk) and produce accurate transcripts. Transcribe both Spanish and occasional English content per project needs. Follow strict transcription conventions using English-language style guides (formatting, labeling, timestamps, speaker/channel tracking). Timestamp and attribute speech accurately, including multiple speakers on dual channels. Complete basic QC on your own work (spelling, formatting, guideline adherence). Work in cloud tools to download/upload files and maintain secure data storage. Communicate with project leads/management in English (Slack and other channels), including raising ambiguities in the style guide. Meet weekly transcription quotas and deadlines consistently.

Required skills

Business level fluency in Spanish; fluent in English (spoken/written). 2+ years transcription experience in Spanish (and ability to transcribe English content). Typing speed 75 WPM+ with 98.5%+ accuracy. Able to transcribe to weekly quotas with consistent output and quality. Experience with transcription software/tools; comfortable with required hardware setup. Strong attention to detail and ability to focus for long periods. Comfortable with strict style guides and conventions (speaker attribution, timestamping, channel tracking). Cloud workflow basics (platform navigation, file transfer, storage/security). Clear communicator; comfortable requesting clarification and flagging issues. Strong time management; able to hit deadlines reliably. Confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive data.

Support multiple Spanish transcription projects by producing high-quality transcription data and ASR-validated datasets at speed and scale. Improve dataset consistency and reliability through standardized transcription and basic QC. Enable ongoing delivery to project timelines while expanding transcription capacity across U.S.-

Part-time , remote role with flexibility on U.S. location (work from anywhere in the U.S.). Year-long contract with a strong possibility of extension for high performers.
