Full-Time Radiology Supervisor for MRI Support Services for
Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO) Position Details: - Day Shift : Monday-Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
- Team support/Check ins, Inpatient & outpatient rounding, staff scheduling, budget monitoring
Experience: - Prior Leadership experience
- Registered MRI
- Highly Motivated and Task orientated

Requirements: - Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
- Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- MR Certification
- 2 years of relevant experience
- 2 years of leadership and/or supervisor experience

Northwest HealthCare , six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. MRI at NWHC has a Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Symphony scanner. The procedure room has a large window making the room bright & has a very open feeling. MRI offers same day service.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of primary departments of responsibility, which may include Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound.
Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Monitors and organizes department resources to maximize productivity and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Serves as liaison between staff and physicians.
Evaluates the care and testing delivered and intervenes appropriately to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED
Experience 2-5 years
Supervisor Experience < 2 years
Licenses & Certifications Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise
Preferred Requirements Education Associate's Degree - Nuc Med/Radiography/Sonography
Experience 5-10 years
Supervisor Experience 2-5 years
Licenses & Certifications Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
