Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with understanding of medical billing and claims processes? We are looking for a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist who will ensure the accuracy and timely submission of patient claims. salary: $17 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Prepare review and submit electronic and paper claims to insurance companies
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving discrepancies promptly
• Communicate with patients regarding billing inquires and outstanding balances
• Maintain compliance with HIPPA regulations and billing guidelines
• Keep current with insurance and healthcare regulations affecting billing practices

Skills
