Hiring Maintenance Technician II & III 35-40/HR Brand New Facility /Climate Control

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical skills to join our team in a fast-paced injection molding facility. This role is approximately 80% electrical and 20% mechanical, focusing on troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installations. Injection molding experience is preferred but not required—we’re willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment.
  • Perform on-the-spot fixes and assist with equipment installations and setups.
  • Support preventive maintenance tasks (approximately 2% of workload).
  • Troubleshoot and maintain injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Essential Skills

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with injection molding equipment is a plus.
