Job Description:
Role: Cooks prepare and cook a variety of foods in a restaurant or catering
setting.
Responsibilities:
Follow recipes and prepare ingredients.
Cook food items to order.
Ensure food quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Answer, report, and follow the executive or sous chef’s instructions.
Wash and chop vegetables, cut meat, and perform other food preparation tasks.
Follow food safety guidelines.
Assist cooks and chefs as needed.
Qualifications :
2 to 3 years of cooking experience in a fine dining or corporate kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a similar role.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
