Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) | Tampa, FL

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide telehealth therapy for clients in Florida. This position focuses on helping clients manage mental health symptoms, build insight, develop coping tools, and work toward realistic treatment goals.

Your work will include virtual counseling sessions, clinical assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation. This is a strong opportunity for an LMHC who enjoys direct client care and wants a remote role with a clear clinical structure.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual therapy to clients through a secure platform
• Assess symptoms, client history, and current concerns
• Establish treatment goals and provide ongoing counseling support
• Help clients work through anxiety, mood concerns, stress, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues
• Keep treatment plans and progress notes current
• Follow clinical, legal, and ethical standards for remote counseling
• Monitor client safety and follow proper reporting or escalation procedures when necessary
• Maintain consistent communication and professionalism in all client interactions

Requirements

• Active Florida LMHC license in good standing
• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience providing counseling services to adults, families, or diverse client populations
• Comfortable delivering therapy through telehealth
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions

Benefits

• $115,000–$120,000 per year
• Full-time position
• Remote / telehealth work setting
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
