Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide therapy services to clients through remote appointments. In this position, you will help clients talk through mental health concerns, understand patterns, set treatment goals, and build practical tools for managing daily life.

The role is hands-on and client-facing. You will spend your time in virtual sessions, reviewing client needs, completing documentation, and making thoughtful clinical decisions based on each client’s situation.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual therapy sessions to assigned clients
• Complete mental health assessments and clinical intakes
• Create treatment plans that are clear, realistic, and client-specific
• Support clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, trauma, and grief
• Document progress notes and treatment updates
• Evaluate client progress and adjust clinical direction when appropriate
• Maintain client privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Use good judgment when handling risk, referrals, or care concerns
• Stay current with professional and licensing standards

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Active LMHC license in Florida
• Experience providing therapy in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, or telehealth setting
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and treatment planning
• Comfortable working with clients through video-based care
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace
