At Sundance Restaurants Holdings LLC we believe that our people are our greatest asset. As we continue to grow and evolve we are looking for a detail-oriented organized and proactive HR Assistant to join our team for a 6-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in human resources and make a meaningful impact on our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the recruitment process including posting job ads reviewing applications scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.

Maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions.

Coordinate employee training and development activities.

Provide administrative support to the HR team including preparing reports drafting correspondence and handling HR-related inquiries.

Assist with employee benefits administration and payroll processing as needed.

Help with the preparation of HR documents such as contracts policy updates and performance appraisals.

Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and wellness programs.

Other HR-related tasks and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (HR-related certification or degree is a plus).

Previous experience in an administrative or HR-related role is preferred but not required.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

A positive attitude adaptability and willingness to learn.
