Job Description

Join our team as a  General Manager for an exciting new restaurant opening in July 2026, a wine bar with great New York style pizza, soft serve and other small bites. We're seeking an outgoing leader with at least 2 years of management experience in hospitality, a passion and a strong knowledge of wine. Frenzie is a funky and vintage wine bar that with the help of Chefs Dan Grossman and Brendan Kelley, Owners and Chefs at Confidant, that will also serve New York style pizza, soft serve and other small bites.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Create and manage a revolving wine program
  • Able to consistently educate staff on wine knowledge and other F&B topics.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service 
  • Lead and manage the F&B team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed 
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally 
  • To assist in the recruitment and training of F&B Colleagues 
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
  • Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings 
  • Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions 
  • Have full knowledge of all menus and offerings
  • Manage the departmental budget 
  • Follow restaurant policies, procedures and service standards 
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage 
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Level 2 sommelier education required
  • Extensive experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a high-end, fine dining establishment or Wine bars
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including financial management, staff management, and guest service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve business objectives and drive profitability.
