Salary: $48,526 - 83,200 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a developer with hands-on experience in PHP and MySQL.
• We need strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You should be comfortable maintaining and enhancing an existing custom-built web application.
• You should be familiar with GitHub and standard version control practices such as branches and commits.
• You must be able to test changes thoroughly and troubleshoot issues with care.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• You should be detail-oriented, dependable, and methodical in your work.
• You must be able to explain technical concepts in clear, simple language.
• Experience with internal business software, CRM, ERP, project management, or workflow tools is an asset.
• Basic Linux or VPS hosting experience is considered an advantage.
• Experience with PDF or report layout work is a plus.
• Experience with Stripe, Twilio, email, or calendar integrations is helpful.
• Experience supporting small businesses or founder-led organizations is preferred.
• Calgary-based candidates or those available for occasional in-person meetings are a plus.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, or GitHub Copilot is an asset.

• We will ask you to review and understand an established application codebase.
• You will make small to medium updates to existing pages, forms, layouts, reports, and workflows.
• You will work with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support ongoing improvements.
• You will use GitHub for version tracking, commits, branching, and change management.
• You will test updates in a demo or staging environment before anything is released live.
• You will diagnose and resolve bugs, layout concerns, and functional defects.
• You may assist with database queries and minor data updates when needed.
• You may help with light hosting or VPS-related tasks when appropriate.
• You will document changes clearly and keep records up to date.
• You will communicate technical updates in plain language for non-technical users.
• You must safeguard confidentiality across our systems, data, workflows, and business processes.
• You may work on a project basis or as part of an ongoing monthly support arrangement depending on fit and need.
