Job Title: Forklift Driver

Job Description

Join our team as a Forklift Driver where you will be trained to expertly operate a forklift to efficiently move products around our production facility. Your role will involve following orders to pick up products using a forklift and transport them to designated destinations such as staging areas for production, storage areas, or trucks for shipping. You will ensure that production lines have sufficient products to keep running and may be responsible for moving racks, emptying them, and loading or reloading packers. Additional duties include wrapping and packaging products as needed, with some computer skills required until our system is updated.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move products around the production facility.
• Transport products to designated destinations such as staging areas, storage areas, or trucks.
• Ensure production lines have sufficient products to run efficiently.
• Move and empty racks, load and reload packers as needed.
• Wrap and package products, get on and off the forklift to make adjustments.

Essential Skills

• Forklift operation
• Material handling
• Basic computer skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Fork Lift Experience - Preferred but not required
• Material Handling Experience - Preferred but not required
• Manufacturing Labor/Production Experience - Highly preferred
• Previous relatable experience - Preferred

Work Environment

Work in a mild, temperature-controlled environment within a clean, well-laid-out manufacturing facility. The facility may get cooler in the winter and hotter in the summer, but all work is conducted indoors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tipton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
