The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. *Duties* - Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. - Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed. - Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. - Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any inquiries or concerns. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts. - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. - Assist in moving items as required for deliveries or warehouse operations. - Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. - Experience driving box trucks or vans is a plus. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
