Job Description

The Dog Wizard Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Balanced Dog Trainer to join our established, professional training team. This role is best suited for a confident trainer who is equally skilled working with dogs and their owners, and who values teamwork, consistency, and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Train dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments.
  • Handle cases including:
    • Basic and advanced obedience.
    • off-leash reliability.
    • Reactivity, aggression, fear, and anxiety.
    • Separation anxiety and behavior modification.
    • Educate and coach clients (human training is a major component of this role).
    • Work collaboratively with a tight-knit team of experienced trainers.
    • Uphold company training standards and customer service expectations.


Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years of professional dog training experience.
  • strong experience with balanced training methods and tools.
  • Comfortable working with challenging behavior cases.
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and professional.
  • Ability to work 6 days per week with some control and flexibility over scheduling.
