At TOCA, partnerships are a critical driver of both community engagement and revenue growth. Our Centers serve as gathering places for players, families, businesses, and organizations looking to experience the sport in new ways.
We are seeking a Director, National Partnerships & Events to lead and scale TOCA’s partnership function, owning the development and execution of national and local partnership strategies.
This role oversees a team responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships that drive guest traffic, grassroots engagement, and incremental revenue. It also leads initiatives spanning corporate events, sponsorships, facility partnerships, third-party programming, and community activations.
This role is ideal for a relationship builder and revenue leader who understands how to create partnerships that benefit both the business and the communities TOCA serves.
Your Game Plan Partnership Leadership & Relationship Development (35%)- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing partnerships team responsible for national events, sponsorships, and community initiatives
- Set direction, priorities, and performance expectations for the partnerships function
- Build and manage relationships with brands, corporations, youth clubs, leagues, schools, and community organizations
- Serve as a cross-functional connector, aligning partnerships with growth, operations, and program initiatives
- Partner with district managers and TOCA Center leaders to activate partnerships locally
- Foster a culture of creativity, ownership, and accountability within the partnerships team

Partnership Strategy & Activation (30%)
- Develop and execute a national partnership strategy that expands TOCA’s reach within the soccer ecosystem
- Lead the development of national and regional events that bring players, families, and partners into TOCA Centers
- Build sponsorship and brand partnerships that create advertising, promotional, and experiential opportunities
- Develop scalable frameworks for local community activations introducing new players to TOCA programs
- Create systems and playbooks that enable consistent partnership execution across markets
Corporate Events & Facility Partnerships (20%)
- Develop and grow corporate event programs across TOCA Centers, including team-building events, tournaments, and experiential activations
- Build relationships with corporate partners for facility use, employee engagement, and hosted events
- Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities tied to events, programming, and in-center brand visibility
- Develop facility rental agreements and partnerships that increase utilization of TOCA Centers
- Identify and manage third-party programming partners that complement TOCA offerings and enhance the guest experience
Revenue Growth & Community Impact (15%)
- Own and drive revenue growth through sponsorships, partnerships, corporate events, and facility utilization
- Increase guest traffic through grassroots partnerships and community engagement initiatives
- Expand TOCA’s presence within soccer communities and corporate networks
- Position TOCA Centers as hubs for soccer culture, events, and community connection
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in partnerships, sponsorship sales, sports business development, or event-driven revenue roles
- Experience developing corporate partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, or brand collaborations
- Experience managing events, facility partnerships, or venue-driven revenue programs preferred
- Proven ability to generate revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, or experiential events
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives across operations, marketing, and community teams
Passion for soccer, sports culture, and community engagement strongly preferred
