Your role as a Dental Assistant
As a Part Time Dental Assistant at Winchester VA, you will be the welcoming clinical point of contact for our valued patients, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. Your daily tasks will include greeting patients in the patient lounge, providing office tours, supporting providers both Doctor and Dental Hygienist with xrays, iTero scanning, charting and various dental procedures including fillings, root canals, crowns, implants, dentures, and orthodontics. You will provide excellent patient care and support while upholding all office policies including HIPPA and OSHA guidelines. The dental assistant role will also include sterilization of instruments and proper set up and breakdown of rooms.
When necessary, you'll assist the front office as needed and contact patients to schedule recare and pending treatment plans. You may be included in the supply ordering process and other various tasks that may develop.
