Job Description

As a Bookkeeper you will play a key role in overseeing client accounting operations and providing financial support to clients. You will be responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your expertise in accounting principles and client relationship management will contribute to the success of our client accounting services.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable
• Monthly reconciliations including bank credit card and balance sheet accounts
• Record and categorize transactions in accounting software
• Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
• Support tax preparation by organizing documentation and working with accountants
• P & L reports
• Weekly invoicing
• Posting
• Handle other bookkeeping and administrative finance tasks as needed

Work environment

• Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions

Qualifications

• 5 years Experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting role
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online accounting software (Accounting CS is a plus)
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor - Preferred

Preferred education and experience

• Experience and ability are the most important qualities
• (Associates or Bachelors degree prefered)
