Join a dynamic and growing organization as we embark on an exciting era of expansion! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GL Accountant to support our team during a pivotal period of company growth and a major upcoming ERP system implementation.
This is a long-term temporary assignment (initially 6 months) with potential to convert to a permanent, full-time role for the right candidate. You will work out of our beautiful, modern corporate headquarters, joining a highly collaborative team known for its supportive and excellent work environment.
We are looking for a professional with comprehensive full-cycle GL accounting experience who thrives in a versatile role. Whether you are working autonomously on complex reconciliations or collaborating with the team on audit preparations, your contributions will be vital to maintaining our financial integrity during this transition.
salary: $36 - $42 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day financial activities, cash reports, and cash flow analysis, reporting, project accounting and financials, and monthly, quarterly consolidated financial statements of the company.
- Assist with the support & automation of key aspects of payables, reporting related processes, and some ad-hoc reporting.
- Adhere to accounting policies and procedures that comply with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Perform month-close processes and reporting.
- Maintain cash report, cash flow, and funding balances.
- Maintain an organized filing system of all accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank statements, account reconciliations.
- Account reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Assist with misc. projects, task and additional accounting related duties

- Journal Entries (5 years of experience is required)
- Month-End Close (5 years of experience is required)
- Account Reconciliation (5 years of experience is required)
- Consolidations (2 years of experience is preferred)
- GAAP (5 years of experience is required)
